On September 23, 2026, His Excellency Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, held a bilateral meeting with His Excellency Tariq Rahman, Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. During this meeting, the two leaders engaged in fruitful deliberations concerning bilateral relations as well as matters of mutual regional interest.
