Iranian Ambassador Meets with Iranian Sports Coaches working in Bangladesh
Mr. Mohammad Reza Nafar met with two Iranian coaches active in Bangladesh.
In the meeting also attended by Mr. Sehat the Honorable Cultural Councilor of Islamic Republic of Iran to Bangladesh, the necessity of utilization of sports as a tool in public diplomacy and removal of the existing barriers was discussed. Mr. Nafar welcomed the Iranian coaches with open arms and considered their presence in Bangladesh as valuable and said that the skills and abilities of the young and ethics-seeking Iranian coaches will be very instrumental in strengthening the positive image of Iran. He wished them luck and assured them they will have the full support of Iran Embassy in Dhaka and expressed hope that their presence in Bangladesh will result in  more interactions between the two Muslim and brotherly nations of Iran and Bangladesh. “all the opportunities and potentialities need to be utilized in developing cultural diplomacy”, he added. It needs to be mentioned that Mr. Omid Zamani and Mr. Sadjad Kazemi are currently working in Bangladesh as Fencing and Judo national team managers respectively. Another coach named Mr. Ali Pour Orooji is also acting as the manager of National Volleyball team of Bangladesh.
