Statement of I.R.Iran’s Embassy to Bangladesh in condemnation of the assassination of the Brilliant Iran Scientist, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh

 In the Name of the God of the Martyrs and the Truth Tellers

Think not of those, who are slain in the way of Allah, as dead. Nay, they are living. With their Lord they have provision.

Professor Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, the Head of the Research & Innovation Organization of I.R. Iran’s Defense Ministry and a brilliant Iranian Scientist, was assassinated on November 27^th in a terrorist operation by the mercenaries employed by certain foreigners. In this assassination, the footprints of the state terrorism of the usurper and child-killer Zionist Regime were so clearly visible.

The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Dhaka, Bangladesh strongly condemns this criminal act which runs counter to Article 3 of Universal Declaration of Human Rights globally accepted in 1948, Article 6 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, Articles 1, 2 and 51 of United Nations Charter, and Article 13 of the Second  Additional Protocol to the Geneva Conventions and violates the responsibility of countries towards international criminal actions. It is indeed a perfect example of a “targeted international killing”. The Embassy hails the exalted soul of this praised martyr and visionary in the area of science and technology and once again emphasizes the firm resolve of the Government and Muslim People of Iran to perpetuate the illuminated way of this great Martyr.

This assassination was again proves that terrorism and extremism are the illegitimate child of CIA and MOSSAD agencies and basically have no relation to Islam. Islamophobia is the false hue and cry of the West to divert the public opinion from the real source of terrorism.

In conclusion it needs to be mentioned that the Islamic Republic of Iran reserves the right to punish the perpetrators of this heinous crime under international laws and the most despicable criminals of human history should know that a big slap is on the way.

May the eternal dignity bestowed upon the martyrs of the Islamic Revolution and especially on the martyred scientist, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh.

And may eternal disgrace go to the history’s greatest criminals
