In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful Today, on September 28, 2026, His Excellency Dr. Rahim Jahandabadi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Bangladesh, held a formal meeting with Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and Leader of the Opposition in the Jatiya Sangsad (National Parliament). The discussions centered upon the bilateral relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Bangladesh, as well as the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. During the meeting, the Ambassador elucidated the principled positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran concerning the ongoing aggression perpetrated by the United States and the Tel Aviv regime against Iran. Furthermore, His Excellency expressed profound appreciation for the participation of the Jamaat-e-Islami delegation in the funeral procession of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, as well as for the steadfast solidarity and support extended by the Ameer and members of Jamaat-e-Islami toward the Islamic Republic of Iran.
