In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful On September 13, 2026, His Excellency Dr. Rahimi Jahanabadi, the Honorable Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Bangladesh, paid an official visit to the Head Office in Dhaka to inspect the ongoing preparations for bilateral tourism cooperation. During the visit, the Ambassador reviewed the newly developed platforms designated for labor deployment, health tourism, religious tourism, and the document verification systems for visa applicants, with subject-matter experts offering comprehensive briefings on each sector. Notably, over the past few months, the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Dhaka has proactively pursued and facilitated the necessary groundwork and diplomatic consultations to foster bilateral engagement in the tourism industry. Following the visit, His Excellency announced that a delegation of Bangladeshi tourism industry leaders will shortly participate in the Tehran Tourism Exhibition to engage in high-level discussions with their Iranian counterparts.
